Chapter 5 of The Report on Unidentified Flying Objects by Edward J. Ruppelt. This time we look at Project Sign, Project Grudge, the Grudge Report, and a few other things. Mostly the chapter is a sick burn, eviscerating Project Grudge and its failed attempt to debunk the UFO phenomenon.

Chapter 4 of Ruppelt's excellent book, The Report on Unidentified Flying Objects.

This time he writes about topics such as the Green Fireballs, Project Twinkle, and Project Grudge. Some interesting sightings are discussed, including one that sounds like it could be a black triangle.

He also talks about some behind the scenes stuff. Supposedly, he had to get the book approved by the air force before publication. Therefore he was not able to explicitly state certain things. However he got around this by asking questions and beating around the bush. Pay close attention to this chapter, Ruppelt hints at things that were later proven to be true.

Chapter 3!

This time our esteemed author Edward J Ruppelt covers UFO events and Project Sign during 1948. He walks us through the steps he took to investigate famous UFO cases. We don't often get a peek behind the military's wall of secrecy, so this chapter is a real treat for true aficionados of the topic.

Some of the topics covered in this chapter are the famous Ghost Rockets, the Mantell Incident, the Chiles Whitted Incident, the Gorman Dogfight, the Estimate of the Situation, J. Allen Hynek's contribution to one of the cases, and more! Quite a lot of excellent UFO goodness packed into the chapter.

The first chapter of Ruppelt's book "The Report on Unidentified Flying Objects." Edward J. Ruppelt was the head of project Blue Book until late 1953. He coined the term "UFO" to replace the less accurate "flying saucers." Dr. J. Allen Hynek said that you should read this book. The ultra-legendary Stanton Friedman was introduced to the UFO topic when he chanced upon a copy of this book.
